Orwell depicts an animal farm that the animals snatched from a farmer and renamed “Animal Farm.” Later in the story, the story is traced back to the Animal farm. According to Orwell, the book reflects the 1917 Russian Revolution and then the Soviet Union’s Stalinist era. He considered that the Soviet Union had devolved into a harsh dictatorship, and this novel mirrored his beliefs. Due of this premise, the novel received worldwide acclaim and admiration. Thus, Orwell stated in one of his essays, “Why I Write,” that for the first time in his life, he attempted “to merge political and artistic purposes into a single whole.” Orwell depicted the events of Soviet Stalinism in an Animal Farm allegory.
